lol.... I'm a boy and I tested it like 6 or 7 times and the system tells me I'm a female all the time :P I'm not gay and I've also tryed to cheat the system choosing the most badass pictures... and it also sayd I was a female hehehe
I wish that the site would explain the trends in male-leaning photos versus female-preferred photos. It really cracked me up the very first time I played that on my 10th pair I had to choose between a wedding photo and a picture of Daniel Craig (the latest James Bond). But it always gets me right!
From the computer's point of view, there is a 72% chance that I am male. Or, to phrase it more accurately, there is a 72% chance that a person who picked the same photos I did would be male.
Basically as you go through and pick pictures, it takes a guess based on previous input, if you tell it that it was right, it places a greater "Gender" weighting on that picture.
If this is the case the first thousand tests would have been Wild guesses for calibration purposes. :P
While interesting in concept, I have been a bit put off by the results of my tests. I am a heterosexual male and my results have definitively been >70% female each and every time. Maybe it is hard to judge gender based on a random selection of pictures.

I assume it uses the results from the Matchin' game.
But on the matching game you are picking for an unknow gender, not yourself.
